I'm an informatics kind of guy, adding value to large scale biological data. From trying to make computers do interesting things with genes at ensembl.org to better organising the biomedical literature on twease.org. I'm head of the production software team at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Instutute, an organiser of Barcamp Cambridge, and a promoter of the use of web standards in the biological sciences.
